Description

A grid of hand-painted checkerboard squares fills the composition in cool tones of teal, lavender, periwinkle, sage green, and soft blue, with each square rendered in a slightly imperfect matte finish that suggests careful craftsmanship. The alternating pattern creates a meditative rhythm, while subtle color variations and the organic quality of the brushwork give this geometric work a warm, nostalgic character despite its cool palette. Made to order from soft micro-twill and cut by hand, insert included. Real art for the spaces you actually use, not store-shelf filler.

Care

About The Artist

Ninola is a watercolor artist and textile designer based in Valencia, Spain. As a designer, she developes projects of illustration and pattern design on different surfaces and products, to make common things more beautiful.
